Music Theory Learning Center

The Music Theory Learning Center (MTLC) is an environment in which undergraduate students can meet with graduate tutors outside of the classroom. Students can visit the MTLC to reinforce concepts introduced in class, ask questions related to homework, and prepare for upcoming exams. The MTLC is staffed by graduate students who specialize in working with undergraduate students. In addition to working with tutors, students are given space in the MTLC to help each other, answer each other's questions, and engage in theory-related conversations that ultimately lead to a deeper understanding of course material.
